This hand-formed and hand-cast ring is made from 835 silver recycled from antique Dutch spoons, giving new life to historic silver through contemporary craftsmanship.

A Swarovski crystal was originally cast in place within the silver, but fractured during the process. The crystal was then reheated in an oven, where it partially melted and reshaped itself into a smooth, glass-like dome.

The result is a unique surface marked by natural cracks and scattered internal speckles, traces of heat and transformation preserved inside the stone.

The softly satin-textured silver contrasts with the glossy, domed crystal — turning a technical failure into a deliberate and unrepeatable outcome.

Each ring is individually made by hand, so no two will ever be the same — this piece exists only once.
