Sand-cast silver flowers with a stone at the centre, held in place since the day they were made. Each one came out of its mold slightly differently — the petals shifted, the band took its own shape, the silver did what it wanted. That's the point. Swarovski crystals are cast in place by hand in Amsterdam. The genuine pearls are set in afterwards, because some things can't survive the heat — but they are carefully placed by the same hands.
